Subsidy removal: Tinubu orders release of 200,000 metric tonnes of grains

President Bola Tinubu has ordered the release of 200,000 tonnes of grains to families in the 36 states of the country.

A statement from the Presidency on Monday, also said the president is working to ensure that vulnerable students across the country benefit from Conditional Cash Transfers and food distribution.

“President @officialABAT has directed the release of over 200,000 Metric Tonnes of grains to families in the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja,” the terse statement posted on Twitter reads.

“In addition, @NigeriaGov is working to ensure that vulnerable students across the country benefit from Conditional Cash Transfers and food distribution.”
